Since leaving the Royal Irish Academy of Music, Dublin born Derek has performed and entertained at some of the top venues in the world and worked with and for many top celebrities.  He is a prolific songwriter and is now in the process of recording an album of original music.  Derek is currently playing in London's Mayfair.

Derek's style covers all genre of music from Mozart to Robbie Williams and as such is always in demand for corporate work such as Microsoft, Coca Cola & Sony, private parties and weddings.

Derek has entertained celebrities such as Princess Di, Tom Jones, Oasis, Sean Connery, as well as many fund raising events including The Terrence Higgins Trust, Lord Taverners and Age Concern.
